The training of skilled and dedicated medical healthcare professionals for the service of the State and beyond is a priority for Lagos State.
In this regard, the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja is establishing a SCHOOL OF ANAESTHETIC TECHNOLOGY to train Anaesthetic Technicians. The School is now accepting applications from adequately qualified students who want to train as Anaesthetic Technicians in its three-year part-time program for the 2023/2024 academic year. Health institutions can also sponsor candidates for the non-residential course.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION / QUALIFICATIONS
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE/HOLD
Five (5) ()level credits in WASC/NECO/SSCE at no more than two sittings during the last five years, English and Mathematics are necessary, as is one credit in either Physics, Biology, or Chemistry.
DURATION OF THE COURSES
After three years of part-time instruction, successful candidates will be given a Certificate in Anaesthetic Technology.
